Role Summary:

As a VP of Growth at Humata, you will be responsible for creating the strategy and selling into large acute health systems in the US market. You will leverage consultative selling to educate prospects on the power of Humata’s technology, helping Providers understand how Humata can improve capacity, positively impact top and bottom line revenue, and enhance the patient experience. You will drive Humata’s revenue growth as we build a best-in-class sales team and scale the organization.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 10+ years of experience selling SaaS technology solutions in the Revenue Cycle space
  • Proven skills in selling enterprise deals to CFO/CSO/COO/CIO roles, alongside respective VP Revenue Cycle and Director levels
  • Deep understanding and experience in the healthcare revenue cycle, including prior authorization processes


What you'll do:

  • Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting, introductions, product demos, business case development, proposals, to contracting (with legal support).
  • Regional Territory Management: Oversee and manage sales activities within a designated regional territory, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and strong provider relationships.
  • Revenue Generation: Acquire, develop, and grow a base of opportunities/accounts independently.
  • Prospecting: Identify and engage potential customers through targeted outbound activities and existing healthcare relationships.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand prospect challenges, structure, and vision and establish Humata as a strategic partner for solving authorization challenges.
  • Value Proposition Alignment: Align Humata’s capabilities with customer goals and develop compelling value propositions.
  • Team Mentorship: As the team grows, manage and mentor sales team reporting to the VP of Growth, ensuring their success.
  • Training Participation: Engage in all product and sales training to maintain effectiveness.
  • Account Management: Manage relationships, pipeline, and forecasts in Humata’s CRM.
  • Travel: Travel as required to meet with customers and prospects.
  • Sales Objectives: Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.


You'll be successful if you have:

  • Sales Experience: Proven experience selling SaaS solutions to healthcare providers with an existing network of contacts
  • Consultative Selling Approach: Leverage a consultative selling approach to understand the unique needs and challenges of potential customers, offering tailored solutions that address their specific business objectives and drive long-term value
  • Revenue Cycle Domain Experience: Deep understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle landscape and prior authorization processes
  • Sales Success: Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and exceeding quotas
  • Support Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the product marketing team to curate and develop effective sales enablement materials, ensuring the sales team is equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and knowledge to successfully engage prospects and close deals
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with specific experience presenting to C-level stakeholders and decision makers
  • Evangelistic Sales Capability: Ability to tell the story of the company and uncover the need for a solution that the buyer may not know they needed
  • Relationship Building Skills: Ability to build strong partnerships and influence stakeholders
  • Self-Starter: Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile; resourceful and adaptable

Compensation:

  • To comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation for this role is $150,000-$185,000 with uncapped commission structure. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
  • This position receives a generous benefits package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, unlimited PTO, and paid holidays.
